day 1, Helsinki
Flight to Frankfurt, connection flight to Delhi.

day 2, Delhi
Arrival in Delhi in the morning. Accommodation at the hotel. Tour of New Delhi; you will see the monumental administration buildings such as the Parliament, the Presidential Palace, ministries etc. Visit to Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi's tomb memorial and the gorgeous Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Despite the millions of people, the streets of Delhi are wide and spacious. The city is also known for its many parks and gardens. You will also see the center with Connaught Place, the India Gate, Pragati Maida...

day 3, Delhi
Tour of Old Delhi. Get to know the Delhi of Shah Jahan's time (17th century). You will see the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid mosque and Chandni Chawk, which is one of Delhi's busiest shopping streets. The Qutab Minar from the 12th century was the first triumphant sign of Muslim rule in India. You will also see a 5000 years old iron pillar. Visit to places with a possibility to have silk and cotton clothes made for measure.

day 4, Agra
Departure for Agra early in the morning. On the way a visit to the ghost city of Fatehpuri Sikri. In Agra the main destination is, of course, the Taj Mahal. You will also visit the Agra Fort, where the builder of Taj Mahal, Shah Jehan, spent the rest of his life by watching his creation from the window.

day 5, Khajuraho
Flight to Khajuraho, accommodation at the hotel. Khajuraho was the city of worship of the Chandela dynasty. 22 of the original 88 temples remain in three groups of temples, one of which is famous for its erotic sculptures. On this journey Khajuraho represents a small Indian village (pop. 8000) and it is totally different from our other destinations. Sunbathing, rest, swimming.

day 6, Varanasi
Flight to Varanasi, accommodation at the hotel. Varanasi (former Beranes) is one of the oldest cities in the world. Bathing in the Ganges at Varanasi is the wish of every Hindu. Besides pilgrimage, Varanasi is also known as a center of knowledge and learning. Thus one of our goals in Varanasi is the university, which has 20,000 students.

day 7, Varanasi ja Kathmandu
Boat trip on the Ganges to see the sunrise. Flight to Kathmandu, accommodation at the hotel, afternoon for rest.

day 8, Kathmandu
Tour with the Durbar part of the city, the monkey temple, the residence of the child goddess Kumar, the Buddha stupa and the camp of Tibetan refugees.

days 9 to 11, Kathmandu
Free getting-to-know the city. Possibility for various trips.

day 12, Kolkata
Flight to Kolkata, accommodation at the hotel.

day 13, Kolkata
Tour including a beautiful Jain temple and Mother Teresa's nursing home.

day 14, Kolkata
The last day before leaving for home could be used for shopping - Kolkata is one of the cheapest cities of India. On the evening flight to Mumbai.
